Game rules

Are you ever in conflict with your friends about the rules of games you play? Conflict no longer! Here are the official BeeVee rules of your favourite games!!

The number one line game to play when you are with a big group and want to have some fun!
Set the playing field: one bottle (the flunk) filled for a third with liquid (preferably). Take seven (7) big steps to both sides of the bottles, and set up the drinks of the two teams on a line on that distance. Glass bottles with caps may be opened before the start of the game, cans may be depressurized but not completely opened yet.
It is preferable to have a ball for the ball, but a shoe is also possible as ball. In this case however, the game would be renamed to flunkyshoe. Very important to remember.

When the teams are set up, choose a team that can start playing first. Usually this is the team of the person holding the ball at that point, but you can get creative with this like with a game of rock paper scissors.
The team that starts throws the ball at the flunk, trying to knock it over.
It is important that the following rules are adhered to:

  • Throwing should be done one-handed, with an over-the-shoulder throw.
  • No one from both teams shall cross the line before the ball has left the hand of the throwing person.
  • If the flunk is knocked over, the team of the thrower may start drinking (or opening their can and then drink in case that applies).
  • If the flunk is knocked over, the opposite team may put the flunk back up and retrieve the ball. When all players are behind their team line again, the team should shout STOP as loud as possible.
  • If STOP is called out, the drinking team has to stop drinking immediately.
  • If beer is spilled, the person spilling the beer will get a punishment drink.
  • If the flunk is hit, but not knocked over, the person throwing can do a trickshot if they want to. If the trickshot hits, normal rules apply but everybody shall be extra happy.
  • When you have finished your drink, hold it upside down above your head for 1 second to prove it is empty. Too much foam means a punishment drink.
  • Flunkyball is a team sport, so when you are finished with your drink you can stay and help your team by throwing and running.

When all players of a team have finished their drinks, that team wins! This means eternal fame for at least half an hour. The losing team has to finish their drinks before they are allowed to participate in another game of flunkyball.

It is koppen with a blik

If you don’t want to get your clothes wet I suggest taking them off before the game starts.

Man taketh a blik. Man koppeth the blik.

Okay no for real now, gather some players and stand in a circle. Grab a metal drink can that is pressurized or carbonated, and hit it to your forehead as hard as said forehead allows for 3 times.
After hitting the can to your head, you may hand over the can to the next player in the circle. If the can is spraying drink when it is handed over to you, drink from it for 3 seconds before hitting it to your head 3 times.
If the can loses pressure while it is in your possesion, you should finish the drink after the game.

You can improve this game by adding multiple cans into the circle of people that are blikkopping.
Bonus points if you sever the blik in half.

The game that has no winners! And a lot of bottles (mines haha)

The game that has no winners! This is so amazing guys and it’s quite simple.

To start the game, you will need an empty table and a minimum of 2 people, but the more the merrier. You will also need a coin, and every player needs a glass. Make sure to keep all your belongings off the table, this will be important later on.

To start your turn, fill your glass up until a point of your liking. Spin the coin, and finish your glass and hit it on the table before the coin stops spinning. If the coin stops spinning before you finish, empty the glass and go again. In this case, you should fill your glass at least until the point you did before.

If someone has something on the table, you may try to hit them with the coin. If you hit for example their glass or arm while it is on the table, they have to finish your glass. The turn will then also transfer to them.

When you have finished your bottle of drink, you now have a landmine. You can place this landmine on the table anytime, anywhere. It is preferable to place it on top of a spinning coin to screw somebody over.

Have fun!

Alternative versions

You can take your playing experience to a higher level by adding some extra rules. They can get quite intense though haha

Stress landmines

Play with two coins, starting at opposite ends of the table. If one coin overtakes the other, the person there has to finish their drink and start their turn again. The coin then moves to the opposite end of the table again.

Struikrover (bandit)

Place a bigger bottle with a drink of your choosing in the middle of the table. This is the struikrover. If someone hits the struikrover with the coin, they have to drink a sip from it and they may move it to wherever they want on the table.

When combining stress landmines with a struikrover, the struikrover may not be place on top of a spinning coin.

The ultimate racing experience (no drinking and driving though)

Man drinketh and man driveth, separately.

The most imporant rule of Mario Krat is that under no circumstances should you drink and drive, that’s dangerous and illegal.

Now for real, Mario Krat is where you get a certain amount of drinks (alcohol free, right?), usually 2, for a certain amount of races, usually 4 (one grand prix) and have to finish them before the races are finished. The one with the most points after the races is the winner. The tricky part is that you can only drink when you aren’t driving, but if you were to get hit by for example a blue shell and you can’t move anyway, then why not drink, am I right? 😉
An important rule that keeps the integrity of the game high is that you cannot drink in the first lap, as it’s boring to just chug your drink at the countdown.

So grab some friends, a mario kart game, some drinks and get to drinking and driving the responsible way.

You do ping pong, but then with cups and your hands or something like that

I may have misled you on the main game rules page, because beer pong is nothing like ping pong. It is way better imo.

On a table, set up 20 cups in two triangles on opposite sides of the table, filled with a bit of water.
The team gets 2 ping pong balls on their turn, and they may try to get a ball into the cup of the other team.

Make sure that your elbow is never above the table, but always behind it.
If the ball is spinning in a cup but has not stopped in the water yet, you may NOT try to blow it out of the cup.
If the ball has bounced on the table, you may try to slap it away from your cups.
If the ball rolls back over the table to the team that threw the ball and they retrieve it, they may do a trickshot.
If a cup is hit, it will be removed from the table and that team may drink.
If the two balls hit the same cup, all the cups around it are removed too.
If a ball thrown by the opponent is caught without it bouncing, a cup of the opponent will be removed.
In every game, you can request the opponent to rearrange their cups once. This is only possible if at least one of the corner cups has already been hit.
If the game ends up to be a 1v1, shirts may be removed to provide extra intensity to the game.

In case of BOS weekends, team 5 always wins.

It’s rock paper scissors

You know the game so I should not have to explain this but oh well here we go

The game can be played by as many players as you want, but that does make it kinda cluttered and vague but can be funny hihi

All players hold out their hands in a fist and chant, ‘rock paper scissors’ or ‘rock, paper, scissors, shoot’, to your preference. Make sure to agree on this before starting the game.
On the ‘scissors’, or ‘shoot’, make either a scissors, rock or paper gesture with your hand.
Scissors can be mimicked by making a fist and extending both your pointer and middle fingers, before aligning your hand vertically. Pleun has always right.
Rock can be done really easily, it is just a fist. If you can’t do this you’re kind of a moron.
Paper is also simple, just start by making a fist, then extend your pointer finger. Do the same for your pinky finger, then your thumb. Followed by your middle and ring finger. Make sure to orient your hand horizontally. You got this.

Rock beats scissors, scissors beat paper, paper beats rock (nobody knows why if you have an idea pls lmk).

If you win using rock, you should bash your fist against the scissors someone is holding up. If you win using scissors, you should try to cut the paper hand someone is holding up with your finger scissors (would you say finger scissors or scissor fingers?). Lastly, if you win using paper you should cover your opponents’ rock with your hand. Get in there nice and comfy.

Quite complicated, but really fun to play in a group of a couple peeps.

Stiften is a really complicated game, I don’t have time to explain it all here. Ask some older BeeVee students to explain it to you. As this is quite a traditional Dutch game, the chance of someone knowing the rules are highest if they are Dutch.

The best card game of them all, lot of fun guaranteed.

This game is super easy! There is only two rules to adhere to.

To set the playing field, grab a deck of cards. When it is a players’ turn, they get a card.
If it *is* the ace of spades, they get to hand out sips (alcohol-free sips of course).
If it *is not* the ace of spades, they have to drink sips (alcohol-free sips of course).

Good luck playing!

Wouter van Ouwerkerk version

To play this version, eat the ace of spades before commencing the game.
